For more than 27 years, Sylvain Chassaing has worked in construction and real estate. His career began in Paris, alongside his father, where he learned the fundamentals of the trade: knowledge of the building site, pride in a job well done and attention to detail.
He then joined Fougerolle Paris, part of the Eiffage group, which brought him to Luxembourg. He went on to Eiffage Construction, then Tralux Construction, part of the Demathieu & Bard group, where he created and developed a division dedicated to high-end projects. His responsibilities within these major international groups shaped his ability to lead teams and deliver complex operations.
His experience covers large residential programmes, offices, schools and industrial buildings as well as character properties and high-end projects. In new build, restoration or refurbishment, he combines technical expertise, coordination of all parties and close attention to the quality of execution.
Today, he develops his own operations through Valbusin and supports developers, investment funds, family offices and private investors in their projects. He acts as delegated project owner (MOD) and project owner’s assistant (AMO), from structuring to delivery. His dual experience in construction and real estate development enables him to anticipate technical and financial issues, inform decisions and steer every operation as a whole.
